Valeria was a vice president of MedCruise, the Association of the Mediterranean Cruise ports between 2005 and 2008; and from October 2017 she was the Director sustainability/ environmental issue of the Board of MedCruise.
Valeria is in charge of the Port Network Authority of the Sardinian sea she is marketing manager she is responsible for leading the marketing activities of the Sardinian Ports while giving support to the expansion of Port Network Authority of the Sardinian Sea.
She attended many international environmental conferences as a speaker and in particular in the last Green Port events as a delegate of MedCruise for these years: 2014-2018.

Gerben joined Anthony Veder in 2017 as business development manager focusing on growing Anthony Veder’s fleet of small scale LNG carriers. Prior to joining Anthony Veder he worked for Gasunie (a Dutch gas infrastructure company) and for Gate LNG terminal, where he worked on the terminal expansion with a dedicated small scale jetty.

Member of the Maritime Affairs at the Spanish Institute of Engineering. Member of PIANC/IAPH working group 174 on sustainability reporting for ports. At present, Head of Environmental Policies at Valenciaport and running a PhD on Naval Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

ECOsubsea has developed technology that keeps vessels hull free of fouling with a robot that sends all biofouling further to be used in biogas production. The vessels save substantial amounts of fuel and both the water and air environment are kept cleaner. Currently operating from the South of the UK, Belgium, and the Netherlands and servicing leading companies like WWL and Carnival Cruises Corp.
ECOsubsea and its team have since 2008 been awarded the “Young Entrepreneur Award”, “Orcelle Award”, the “Green Shipping Technology Award” in addition to "The Global Freight Award" in 2016 for the development of sustainable technology to the shipping industry.
